Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to join our team at Service Stream. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the effective management and operation of Wastewater Treatment Plants within the Coliban Water Region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver operations and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Plants on a day-to-day basis to deliver reliable and compliant treated effluent to meet the Company's objectives.
  • Responsible for the operation of the whole system 24 hours per day/7 days a week.
  • Active involvement in ensuring the highest standard of safety is maintained for all stakeholders always.
  • Ensure Service Stream's safety processes and procedures are adhered to.
  • Active engagement in all site safety initiatives.
  • Contribute to a risk management culture to maximise the safety of people, plant and process impacted by project activities.
  • Understand and comply with our safety/environmental policies and procedures, and promote health, safety and environmental initiatives across the team.
  • Actively participate and support the company's continuous improvement activities, policies and procedures ensuring your activities reflect the company's Environment and Quality Management Systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Operation of Treatment Plants or allied industry.
  • Recognised Water Industry Training certificates – Desirable
  • Mechanical or Electrical Trade – Desirable
  • A full Australian (Manual) Drivers Licence - Essential
