About the Role

Gentrack is seeking a highly skilled Principal Salesforce Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving the development and maintenance of Salesforce applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the team in translating user journeys into deliverable Salesforce solutions
  • Develop and maintain software as part of a self-organizing, multi-disciplined scrum team
  • Review solutions proposed by project delivery teams and produce architecture and design artifacts aligned with project scope
  • Perform unit testing and create automated tests
  • Document functionality and technical solutions
  • Proactively identify ways to improve code and increase quality
  • Maintain a good understanding of new platform features and functionality
  • Support initiatives run by the GSTF and demonstrate our company values by providing a clear commitment to environmental and social responsibility
  • Contribute through identifying/proposing local sustainable practices and ideas in accordance with our Sustainability Charter
Requirements
  • 8+ years experience working with the Salesforce platform
  • Expert understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practice
  • Strong Apex and Type Script skills
  • Strong Front end experience (HTML/CSS)
  • Vast experience working with and developing REST APIs
  • Experience with Salesforce Flow and other automation tools
  • Experience with SFDX, Git and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience working in an agile/scrum environment
