We are seeking seasoned professionals to lead environmental impact assessment projects in our Melbourne office. These roles offer the opportunity to work on complex renewable energy projects and collaborate with a team of industry experts.

You will play a key role in ensuring that major projects are developed sustainably and responsibly, with a focus on environmental outcomes. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead EIS/EES projects and develop approvals strategies for major projects.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
  • Support business development efforts to secure new clients and projects.
  • Mentor junior team members to develop their skills and expertise.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years' experience in environmental planning and impact assessments, including 5+ years' experience in consulting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Commonwealth and Victorian environmental legislation.
  • Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, resourcing, scheduling, risk management, and communications.
  • Tertiary degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Planning, or a related discipline.
  • Authorisation to work in Australia.
