System Integration Specialist

The Australian Electoral Commission is seeking qualified and experienced system integration specialists who will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient, automated, and reliable deployment of solutions across the enterprise application landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and develop integration solutions that meet business requirements and technical constraints using Microsoft Azure tools like App Services, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus.
  • Design, develop, and implement high-quality APIs ensuring reusability, reliability, scalability, and security, effectively managing API versions for backward compatibility and seamless transitions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for integration components, identifying and resolving technical issues promptly.
  • Troubleshoot integration-related problems working closely with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews, plan and execute comprehensive testing strategies including unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing to verify solution reliability, accuracy, and performance.
  • Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize for speed, scalability, and efficiency, maintaining detailed documentation of solutions, technical specifications, and deployment procedures.
  • Work closely with developers, system analysts, integration testers, and other stakeholders to align DevOps practices with project goals and timelines, fostering a culture of collaboration.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and provide input on cloud strategy, scalability, and interoperability, ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks and standards.
