Job Opportunity:

A highly skilled Electrical Foreman is required to join our team in Africa, working on a 6 week on, 4 weeks off roster. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years experience as an Underground electrician and at least 5 years as an Underground electrical supervisor. They will also have a solid understanding of WHS requirements, sound knowledge of Australian standards relevant to underground mining electrical systems, and the ability to maintain electrical management systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support the site leadership teams in implementing safety systems and initiatives to improve safety performance related to the electrical function.
• Review working areas of sites to ensure compliance with all relevant Acts and Regulations, policies, procedures, work instructions and standards.
• Ensure visual leadership interactions are undertaken, provide coaching and mentoring to site team members, and support site electrical teams with planning.
• Liaise with site Project Management and Electrical Manager for any non-compliance and/or safety issues related to site electrical concerns.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Electrical Trade certificate
• Unrestricted electrical license
• Electrical Nominee qualifications
• High Voltage operations certificate
• First Aid qualifications
