At Talent International, we are currently seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Test Engineer to join our team in Australia.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Verification and Validation Engineer to contribute to the delivery of a large network modernisation program. As a Network Systems Test Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing and conducting test & verification of the overall system and directly supporting the System Integration and Test team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and Executing System Level Test Plans and Procedures: You will be responsible for creating comprehensive test plans and procedures to ensure the quality and reliability of the network system.
  • Ensuring Testing Activities are Carried Out Within the Set Timeframe and Budget: You will work closely with the project team to ensure that testing activities are completed on time and within budget.
  • Designing Automated Test Frameworks to Optimise Test Conduct and Reduce Manual Testing: You will design and develop automated test frameworks to streamline the testing process and reduce manual testing efforts.
  • Actively Working with Systems Engineering to Ensure Methods and Procedure Remain Aligned with Functional and Non-Functional Requirements Throughout the Program Lifecycle: You will collaborate with the systems engineering team to ensure that testing methods and procedures remain aligned with functional and non-functional requirements throughout the program lifecycle.
Key Requirements
  • Australian Citizenship and Ability to Obtain Australian Defence Security Clearance: You must be an Australian citizen and able to obtain Australian Defence security clearance.
  • 3+ Years of Experience in Verification and Validation on Mission Critical Systems: You should have at least 3 years of experience in Verification and Validation on mission critical systems.
  • Experience Working for Government or Defence Will Be Highly Regarded: Experience working for government or defence will be highly regarded.
  • Ability to Work in a Multi-Disciplined Engineering Environment with Stringent Safety and Security Requirements: You should be able to work in a multi-disciplined engineering environment with stringent safety and security requirements.
  • Experience with Network Equipment and Telecommunications Systems, Voice Communications Systems, Radios, or Telephony: You should have experience with network equipment and telecommunications systems, voice communications systems, radios, or telephony.
Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this role is around $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
