Forklift Operator Position

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Workforce International Group is seeking skilled Forklift Operators for casual employment in a prominent Food Production Facility.

This facility is renowned for producing popular consumer goods distributed across major retailers.

As a significant production site operating around the clock, we require Forklift Operators to undertake various responsibilities throughout their shifts.

Availability for 12-hour shifts is essential.

Double vaccination is a requirement.

Shift Details:

  • DAYSHIFT: 3am – 3pm $36
  • Weekend shifts are also available.

Role Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Loading and unloading of raw materials and finished goods
  • Adhering to production timelines and schedules
  • Operating forklifts safely and efficiently
  • Performing general cleaning tasks
  • Ensuring machinery and work areas are kept clean
  • Conducting quality checks on products
  • Packaging products into boxes and organizing onto pallets
  • Engaging in knife work, including cutting of potatoes
  • Participating in production cleaning processes

CANDIDATE PROFILE

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A valid LF Forklift License
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • A proven track record of reliable employment

Having personal transportation is advantageous due to the nature of the shift timings.
