Job Title:

Candidate Sought for Front of House and Bar Role

Description:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the role of Front of House and Bar staff member.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing their section during service, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and confirming reservations;
  • Managing their section during service with efficiency and professionalism;
  • Providing menus and explaining daily specials to guests;
  • Suggestive selling and upselling to increase revenue and enhance guest satisfaction;
  • Taking food and drink orders and serving food and drinks with precision and care;
  • Clearing tables and resetting them as per standard to maintain a clean and welcoming environment;
  • Assisting in providing an overall excellent dining experience for all guests;
  • Supporting bar work, including non-alcoholic drinks, cocktails, beers, spirits, and wines, as well as barista services;
  • Wine and bar experience is highly desirable;
  • Barista or coffee knowledge is also highly desirable;
  • Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling is essential;
  • Able to manage and work a section independently;
  • Able to carry 3 plates at a time with ease;
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments;
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required;
  • Valid Victorian RSA certification is mandatory;
  • Double vaccination status is also required;

As a Bartender:

You will be responsible for preparing and serving a range of beverages, maintaining the bar area to a high standard, and assisting front-of-house team members as needed.

Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 years' experience working in the front-of-house section as a bartender;
  • Wine and bar experience is highly desirable;
  • Barista or coffee knowledge is also highly desirable;
  • Proficient in POS systems and cash handling;
  • Able to manage and work a section independently;
  • Able to carry 3 plates at a time with ease;
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments;
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required;
