About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Data Analyst to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving data issues and exceptions across our energy transmission and distribution networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis: Proactively identify and analyze data issues and exceptions across our internal and market systems, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing disruptions.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Assess issues and exceptions, determine root causes, and recommend solutions to improve data quality and accuracy.
  • Operational Support: Provide operational support and input to business and industry-sponsored audits and market compliance-related activities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve incidents and issues, providing specialist domain knowledge and leadership.
Requirements
  • Proven Analytical Skills: Ability to compare and analyze detailed data from varied sources.
  • Energy Sector Experience: Experience working in the energy sector, with a strong understanding of energy transmission and distribution networks.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with an organized approach to problem definition, identification, and assessment of alternatives.
  • IT Skills: Demonstrable ability to use MS Office and other data analytic tools.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
