This role will oversee the design and services coordination from initial concept to construction documentation completion. You will also play a key role in providing Business Development services for the division.

The main responsibilities of this position include:

  • Managing consultants to deliver high-quality design documentation on time and within budget, ensuring compliance with the Project Brief.
  • Contributing to cost control and value optimisation of a project.
  • Reviewing the project design for regulatory and building compliance, coordinating services with multi-discipline design subcontractors.
  • Maintaining design quality control management.
  • Developing and maintaining professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders (clients, consultants, subcontractors).
  • Assisting stakeholders with strategies and investigation of project opportunities.
  • Leading and coordinating the submission of final documentation, as constructed drawings, authority approvals, warranties, and guarantees at handover of a project.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant discipline (desirable but not mandatory).
  • Experience in Design or Engineering Management delivering Design & Construct projects from commencement to completion within any relevant process industry.
  • Ability to communicate, influence, and build effective relationships at all levels of the external and internal business environment.
  • Ability to deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to site as required.
