Mental Health Navigator

The role of Intake and Assessment Officer is a critical position in providing exceptional healthcare services to clients.
As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for triaging referrals, chatting with clients and stakeholders, and navigating the mental health maze to match clients with the right support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the gatekeeper of our program by triaging referrals and handling enquiries from the public and partners.
- Keep our intake and referral system humming smoothly by efficiently managing client records.
- Respond swiftly when someone's in crisis by utilizing your strong communication skills and expertise in mental health.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualifications in Community Services, Mental Health, or similar fields such as Enrolled Nurse or Social Worker.
- Experience in intake or triage roles, preferably in local Mental Health settings.
- Strong time management and communication skills to effectively handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Team player vibes with solo superstar energy to work collaboratively with colleagues and manage workload independently.
- Tech confidence, especially with clinical software to ensure seamless integration with our systems.
