About the Role:

Healthcare Support Specialist

GEO Healthcare seeks highly skilled multidisciplinary teams of healthcare practitioners to ensure people in prison can access and receive the healthcare services they need. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the management of medications, including preparation for administration rounds, administering prescribed medication, and managing inventory.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and attention to detail. They will also have the ability to work within teams and collaboratively across teams, with strong computer and information technology skills. Completion of a dispensary assistant module will be highly regarded, as will medication administration/pharmacy tech experience.

We are currently welcoming applications from Assistant in Nursing, Personal Care Assistance, and Enrolled Nursing candidates who are looking to broaden their experience in a new field of medicine. Opportunities exist for Full Time and Part Time positions, with salary packages commensurate with experience.
