- Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, plus benefits
We are seeking an experienced switchboard operator to join our team on a fixed-term basis until June 2024. As a switchboard operator, you will be responsible for answering calls from external and internal customers in a timely manner. This role also involves updating medical staff rosters and responding to emergency calls promptly.
You will work within a dynamic team environment, using your strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Answering and directing telephone calls
- Updating medical staff rosters
- Responding to emergency calls
- Maintaining accurate records
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Higher School Certificate or Victorian Certificate of Education
- Previous clerical and switchboard experience, preferably in a hospital environment
- Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
