About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Physician to join our practice in Mackay, QLD. As a specialist in dermatology, you will be working closely with the Practice Principal, who has over 35 years of experience in skin medicine.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as a passion for providing high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for providing general medical care to patients and performing minor procedures under local anesthesia in our purpose-built treatment rooms. Our team includes three qualified nurses, two of whom are Accredited Vaccine Providers, providing full administration and nursing support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care and perform minor procedures under local anesthesia
  • Work collaboratively with the Practice Principal and other healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols
Requirements
  • FRACGP or equivalent registration
  • Full Australian Work Rights
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Possession of a valid driver's license
