Job Description

This is a permanent full-time opportunity at our Galong Limestone Mine and Processing Plant. The role supports the production team by conducting product testing and sampling to meet production requirements.

The successful candidate will have experience in chemical or manufacturing industry, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. They will also possess effective communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting sample quality testing of finished products.
  • Communicating product quality results with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Delivering coaching on tasks including sampling and testing, and building knowledge of quality related company procedures.
  • Participating in internal and external quality audits with the team.
  • Coordinating equipment calibrations with suppliers and maintainers, and keeping laboratory equipment accurate and clean.
  • Assisting in activities that enable limestone extraction and processing into various products ready for sale to customers.
  • Communicating deviations from expected plant throughput and product quality to the Production Supervisor and team.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Laboratory experience sampling raw materials and/or operations/production environment.
  • Experience in chemical or manufacturing industry.
  • Effective communication, problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and experience with laboratory Information Management systems.
