Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Rehabilitation Professional to join our team at MedHealth Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions.

As an Occupational Rehabilitation Professional, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including those with physical and psychological injuries. Your primary focus will be on helping clients achieve return to health and return to work outcomes through the development and implementation of personalized rehabilitation plans.

Your duties will include:

  • Clinical assessment and case management;
  • Development and implementation of rehabilitation plans;
  • Collaboration with employers, employees, medical professionals, and allied health specialists;
  • Education and training for clients, employers, and other stakeholders;
  • Consultation and support to ensure optimal workplace health and safety outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, health sciences, or rehabilitation counseling);
  • General or provisional registration with AHPRA as a psychologist or eligibility for membership with ASORC;
  • Previous experience working in occupational rehabilitation or a related field;
  • Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to client care;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • A current NSW driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
