As an Intermediate Accountant, you will be working closely with senior accountants and managers to deliver accurate, timely advice to clients. You will gain valuable client exposure, expanding your expertise across tax, compliance, and advisory services.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships
  • Assist with BAS, IAS, FBT, and payroll tax obligations
  • Support tax planning and business advisory projects
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies on behalf of clients
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver accurate, timely advice
  • Develop technical and client-facing skills with guidance from experienced professionals

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in public practice accounting
  • CA/CPA qualification or currently undertaking
  • Strong knowledge of Australian tax and accounting standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Confident communication and proactive approach
  • Proficiency in cloud-based accounting software (Xero, MYOB, APS)
