The Role


As an Android Software Development Engineer, you'll be responsible for creating high-quality mobile experiences for our customers. You'll provide technical expertise in Android development using Kotlin and Java/C++, while mentoring and coaching others. You'll own the delivery of practical solutions to solve real-world problems for customers, with the knowledge that what you build has an immediate positive impact.


Key Responsibilities



  • Design and develop high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Java/C++
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features and fixes
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the quality of the codebase
  • Identify and prioritize technical tasks to improve the overall quality of the Android experience

Requirements



  • Strong background in Android development with experience in Kotlin
  • Experience with Jetpack Compose and other Android development tools
  • Passion for native mobile development and the Android ecosystem
  • Solid understanding of concurrency and multi-threading concepts
  • Experience with automated testing methodologies and continuous integration
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
