A great opportunity has become available for a reliable and experienced Heavy Combination (HC) truck driver.
This role involves conducting deliveries of steel products, operating an automatic HC truck, and providing outstanding levels of service.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Operate an automatic Heavy Combination (HC) truck
- Conduct deliveries of steel products
- Multidrop across local Metro Victorian areas
- Restraining loads
- Providing outstanding levels of service
- Commitment to safety for yourself, customers, public, environment and other staff
- Reporting incidents/accidents immediately
- Respecting and abiding by all road/traffic laws
- Adhering to standard safety operating procedures
- Keeping the interior and exterior of the vehicle clean
- Maintaining electronic/paper log books
- Manual handling of products
- Valid HC licence and experience with load restraint
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with operating HR trucks
- Steel experience preferred
- Ability to use technology on a daily basis
- Excellent driving skills
- Professional presentation
- Great work ethic and attitude
