The State of Hawai'i is seeking highly skilled Human Services Professionals to join our team in the Child Welfare Services Branch. As a Human Services Professional, you will play a critical role in improving the overall quality of life of individuals and families within the context of their environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional services to clients, including assessment, case management, and counseling.
- Develop and implement individualized plans to address client needs and goals.
- Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to ensure effective service delivery and coordination.
- Conduct home visits and other assessments to identify client needs and develop plans to address them.
- Provide crisis intervention and support services as needed.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a minimum of 12 semester credit hours in courses such as counseling, criminal justice, human services, psychology, social work, social welfare, sociology, or other behavioral sciences.
- Progressively responsible professional work experience, including six months for the Level II, one and one-half years for the Level III, and two and one-half years for the Level IV.
- Valid driver's license required for some positions.
