About the RoleThe Clinical Midwifery Educator will play a key role in facilitating clinical education and competency programs for our Maternity Team.
This role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating practices, processes, and services related to the clinical education of our team within the unit.
Key Responsibilities
- To develop and implement effective clinical education and training programs for midwives.
- To provide guidance and mentorship to new staff members.
- To evaluate and improve existing education and training practices.
Requirements
- A strong specialist clinical skillset in Midwifery and a strong capacity for training and education of clinical team members.
- Skilled Registered Midwifery with AHPRA registration.
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience within a maternity environment.
