Facilities Maintenance Assistant
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment in a retail setting. This includes sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, as well as disinfecting high-touch areas such as public spaces, meal rooms, offices, and bathrooms.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, the applicant will need to possess solid knowledge of cleaning and hygiene-related services, good communication skills, both written and verbal, and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Schedule:

What You Will Need To Do:
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Disinfect high-touch areas
- Manual handling and lifting of equipment
- Use a buffer, high-pressure washer, scrubber, and floor sweeper
- Removal of rubbish
- Sanitize and disinfect using chemicals
- Manage stakeholder expectations
What We Are Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have no prior experience necessary, but must be willing to learn and take on new challenges. The successful applicant will be required to undergo a National Criminal History check for this role.
