We are seeking two passionate journalists to join our Regional Queensland and NT News Team. As part of ARN, the recognised leader in audio in Australia, you will have the opportunity to share your voice on the future of audio.

The successful candidates will be responsible for sourcing, preparing, and reading local news as part of ARN's Local News First initiative. This includes writing, editing, and presenting high-quality local news for our listeners, conducting and editing interviews for inclusion in local news bulletins, and writing, editing, and publishing news stories for our station websites.

Key responsibilities include reporting from the field and attending media conferences, doorstops, police incidents, and other news events as required. You will also be responsible for forming connections with local newsmakers to ensure ARN is QLD and NT's news leader.

We are looking for individuals with strong on-air presentation and writing skills, a tertiary qualification in journalism or communications, and an understanding of the law as it relates to media, particularly in the areas of Defamation and Contempt of Court.
