Equestrian Venue Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Event Operations Specialist to coordinate events at the Queensland State Equestrian Centre.
The role involves:
- planning and executing diverse events across a 7-day week;
- providing venue facilities that meet customer expectations;
- overseeing facility bookings and managing related matters;
- acting as the point of contact for all venue-related inquiries;
- offering expert advice and effective problem-solving;
- collaborating in the development and delivery of the venue's operational plan;
- monitoring and reporting on finance, operations, and performance metrics;
- performing administrative duties and financial processing tasks.
You will foster an environment of trust, innovation, and teamwork while building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote business at the venue.
We require a motivated leader who can naturally build and maintain positive and productive relationships. You will leverage your experience in event management and your strong operational and administrative background to deliver exceptional results.
A successful candidate will possess:
- excellent time management and organisational skills;
- the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and deliver events with professionalism and exceptional customer service;
- a strong attention to detail and passion for delivering high-quality events;
- experience and insight into reporting on venue and event performance, finance, and operations;
- a commitment to quality customer service, teamwork, safety, and best practices.
Occasional overtime and being on call may be required due to the nature of the role.
