Role Overview:
Talent Quarter PTY Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aged Care Registered Nurse to join our team. As an Aged Care Worker, you will be at the forefront of providing high-quality care and support to elderly individuals who require assistance with daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with Personal Care, Mobility, and Exercises: Provide physical support and assistance with daily living activities, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our residents.
- Administering Medication and Monitoring Health: Safely administer medication and monitor the health and well-being of our residents, working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Preparing Meals and Supporting with Feeding: Prepare nutritious meals and provide support with feeding, ensuring our residents receive the care and nourishment they need.
- Handling Cleaning, Laundry, and Household Tasks: Assist with cleaning, laundry, and household tasks, maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment for our residents.
- Offering Emotional Support and Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to our residents, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
- Communicating with Healthcare Professionals and Families: Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and families, ensuring seamless care and support for our residents.
Requirements:
- APHRA Registration: Hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA).
- Flexibility to Work Full-Time and Across Shifts: Be flexible to work full-time and across various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Completed Vaccinations and Serology Evidence of Immunisation Status: Hold completed vaccinations and serology evidence of immunisation status.
- NDIS & NPC Certification (Within a Month): Obtain NDIS & NPC certification within a month of commencing employment.
- At Least 12 Months of Experience in the Aged Care Sector: Have at least 12 months of experience in the aged care sector, with a strong understanding of the needs and requirements of elderly individuals.
