Senior Lawyer

As a Senior Lawyer, you will play a critical role in our Legal Services team, providing legal advice and expertise to support the Bureau's operations.

The ideal candidate will have significant commercial or generalist experience, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team. You will be responsible for delivering expert legal advice on a range of commercial agreements and transactions, as well as working closely with colleagues across the organization.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is proactive, strategic and a team-player, with a strong desire to make a positive impact within the Bureau.

We are seeking a lawyer with at least 5 years' post-admission experience, preferably in a general or commercial practice. Previous in-house or government experience is highly regarded but not essential.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality legal advice on complex commercial matters
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to deliver business outcomes
  • Contributing to the development of the Legal Services team's strategy and goals
