Aegis Aged Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Care Manager. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, while also leading and mentoring our care staff.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and Mentor Care Staff: Provide guidance, support, and coaching to our care staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide exceptional care to our residents.
- Develop and Implement Care Plans: Work with our residents, their families, and our care staff to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Ensure Quality and Safety: Monitor and evaluate the quality and safety of our care services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Collaborate with Other Teams: Work closely with our other teams, including our clinical nurse manager, care staff, and support staff, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- AHPRA Registration: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Clinical Experience: Proven experience in aged care, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges of older adults.
- Leadership and Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards: Strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and quality management systems.
