We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Support Professional to join our team in Shellharbour. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our elderly clients by providing high-quality care and support in their own homes.

About the Role

As a Home Care Support Professional, you will be responsible for delivering tailored care and support services to our clients, including domestic assistance, meal preparation, social support, and personal care. You will work closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and preferences, and develop personalized care plans to meet those needs.

This is a permanent part-time position, guaranteeing you a stable schedule with regular hours close to home. Our competitive hourly rate is $29.51, plus superannuation, paid kilometers, and a phone allowance. We also offer an Employee Benefits Program with discounts on food, clothing, shoes, spa treatments, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care and support services to clients in their own homes
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet client needs
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions and care plans
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle (travel is part of the role)
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality care and support services with empathy and compassion
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Availability to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday
