Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join the market leading Digitals team at WT Partnership as a Digital BIM Project Manager in Sydney or Brisbane. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the BIM Manager in advancing our Building Information Modeling capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement BIM project workflows to ensure seamless integration of BIM technology with other digital engineering initiatives within the organization.
  • Coordinate with various project stakeholders to ensure consistent application of BIM processes, including the integration of BIM tools into the wider digital strategy.
  • Maintain the BIM standards across projects, including templates, libraries, and model management.
  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of the company's BIM documentation and standards.
  • Provide training and support to project teams in BIM processes and tools, ensuring they are equipped to utilize BIM effectively.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in BIM technologies and processes, and organize upskilling sessions for the team as necessary.
  • Perform clash detection, and resolve issues between different service models to ensure timely completion of projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in BIM coordination, ideally within a construction or quantity surveying environment.
  • Proficiency with BIM software such as Revit, Dynamo, Navisworks, and other Autodesk products.
  • Understanding of BIM processes and technology with a strong grasp of the associated risks and benefits.
  • Demonstrated experience in IFC / openBIM, with the ability to integrate BIM tools into the wider digital strategy.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex BIM data and provide insightful recommendations.
