Senior Geotechnical Engineer

This role is a great opportunity for a skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to contribute to the success of our Geotechnical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical engineering and experience with soil investigation, supervision, and design.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing field data acquisition, site investigations, testing, and producing calculations, reporting, specifications, and drawings to ensure that geotechnical designs provide appropriate solutions. They will also undertake geotechnical analysis in areas such as slope stability, pavement designs, foundations, and retaining walls, and provide quality check and review experience to an appropriate technical standard.

The key skills and qualifications required for this role include:
  1. A Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering with completion of geotechnical electives and/or major as part of your university studies.
  2. Minimum 5 years working experience in consulting field and/or recognised as a senior engineer in your current role.
  3. Experience with soil investigation, supervision, and geotechnical design.
  4. Previous experience with engineering software packages such as gINT, GEOSTUDIO, PLAXIS, ROCSCIENCE, CIRCLY, AutoCAD.
