Position: Vehicle Mechanics Apprenticeship Coach
Location: South West of the UK
Salary: £36,400
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week

Overview:
First Military Recruitment is collaborating with a prominent International Defence organization seeking to hire a Vehicle Mechanics Apprenticeship Coach on a 12-month contract basis to support the south west region of the UK. This role offers the flexibility of remote work from home, with occasional travel to various sites.
The ideal candidate must be able to obtain and uphold Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and assess learners in alignment with customer expectations.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is completed to the required standard and within established timelines.
- Provide guidance and advice for portfolio development to learners based on their program requirements.
- Accurately document, plan, and monitor individual learner progress in accordance with established paperwork and reporting procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in the vehicle mechanics sector.
- Strong understanding of work-based learning programs.
- Previous experience in the defence industry, preferably within the military context (desired but not essential).
- Relevant industry qualification in Vehicle Mechanics, minimum Level 3.
- Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (desirable).
- Award/Certificate in Education & Training (or equivalent).
- Maths and English GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent).
