Employment Opportunity for Skilled Vehicle Body Repair Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled vehicle body repair specialist to join our team in Springvale. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of tasks including inspecting damaged vehicles and estimating the necessary repairs.

  • Inspect vehicles to identify damage and assess the required repair work.
  • Use a variety of tools and equipment, including welding gear and cutting tools, to remove and replace damaged panels and components.
  • Repair or replace body panels, chassis components, mudguards, and bumpers as needed.
  • Utilize specialized equipment to realign vehicle structures and frames, ensuring precision and accuracy.
  • Fitting new panels and parts, guaranteeing proper alignment and fit.
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for painting by sanding and priming.
  • Reassemble vehicles after repair and painting have been completed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and management to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of services.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the industry.
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings and repair manuals.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Awareness of safety and environmental regulations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
