Senior Cloud Architect Position

This senior role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale enterprise software systems using cloud-native technologies and modern architecture patterns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop scalable software solutions using TypeScript and AWS services.
  • Implement complex event-driven systems following Event-Sourcing and CQRS patterns.
  • Lead the development of cloud-based applications on AWS using clean architecture principles.
  • Drive technical decision-making within cross-functional teams.
  • Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines.
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure quality through rigorous testing methodologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on cloud computing and enterprise environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Proven track record implementing Event-Sourcing and CQRS patterns in production environments.
  • Extensive experience with event streaming technologies such as AWS Event-Bridge or Kafka.
  • Proficiency in unit testing and integration testing using frameworks like JEST.
  • Expert understanding of clean architecture, SOLID principles, and enterprise design patterns.
  • Comprehensive experience with AWS services including DynamoDB, SQS, Event-Bridge, and DocumentDB.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with DevOps practices including ECS, Fargate, and CI/CD pipelines.
