About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Gardener Operator to join our team. As a key member of our Parks & Gardens team, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing parks, gardens, and landscaping to achieve high standards of presentation.

This is a challenging opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. You will have the chance to operate mobile plant equipment, including loaders, backhoes, skid steers, and lawn mowers, with relevant certificates of competency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and develop parks, gardens, and landscaping to meet client expectations.
• Operate a range of heavy machinery and tools as required.
• Apply turf fertilisers and chemicals, manage work sites, and prune trees as necessary.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve park and reserve objectives.

Requirements:

• A current HR Auto Driver's Licence or willingness to gain within six months.
• Extensive experience in horticulture, landscaping, and park maintenance.
• Certificate III in Horticulture (desirable).
• Basic worksite traffic management certificate (desirable).
• Chemical Handling Certificates or WA Pest Management Technician License (desirable).
• National Police Certificate (no more than six months old).
