We are currently inviting expressions of interest from qualified and experienced individuals to teach in various units of study at Macquarie University College.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and deliver lessons, assessments, and examinations
- Supervise student progress and attendance
- Participate in meetings and liaise with staff
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A minimum of a 3-year bachelor degree in a relevant discipline area
- At least two years of teaching experience, preferably in a pathway space
- Expertise in teaching one or more of the following areas: Arts, Business, Statistics/Mathematics, Critical Thinking, Economics, Engineering, Marketing and Management, Media, Information Technology, particularly in Processing and Java Programming, Database Modelling and SQL, Video Game Design, Cyber Security, Business Information Systems, Digital Intelligence, Physics
Applicants with higher relevant degrees and/or more relevant teaching experience will be given preference.
Working ArrangementsCasual teaching staff at Macquarie University College are employed on an as-needed basis. Successful expressions of interest will be kept on file and may be considered when a vacancy arises that matches the skill base, disciplinary background, and availability of the applicant.

Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $75-$100 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Employment of casual teaching staff at Macquarie University College is governed by the Enterprise Agreement.
