Heavy Vehicle Technician/Mechanic Role

This dealership is seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and repairing heavy vehicles, including trucks and trailers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, identifying mechanical, electrical and technical issues, and performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations and brake replacements.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Heavy Vehicle Technician/Mechanic will utilise diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve vehicle issues accurately, collaborate with the service team to ensure timely and efficient repairs, and provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures to clients.

The ideal candidate will possess a Heavy Vehicle Technician qualification and have proven experience in diagnosing and repairing heavy vehicles, particularly trucks. They will also have excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and technical systems in heavy vehicles, proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and software, strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex vehicle issues, and exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

They will also have excellent communication and customer service skills, making them an asset to our team.
