Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary care services to residents of Residential Aged Care Facilities.
  • Taking medical history, undertaking clinical examinations, arranging investigations, implementing management plans and providing preventive healthcare.
  • Conduct regular reviews and follow-ups with aged care residents.
  • Contribution to health assessments and medication management for new resident admissions.
  • Perform annual health assessment reviews for existing residents.

You will be supported by our administration staff on administrative and IT related matters allowing you to focus on clinical tasks and patient care.

No after-hours requirements all calls directed to our medical deputising service.

Requirements:
  • Unrestricted Vocationally Registered VR - FRACGP or FACRRM preferred or restricted VR doctor under moratorium.
  • AHPRA registered and permitted to work in Australia.
  • Apply for a Medicare Provider Number.
  • Own professional indemnity insurance.
  • Great attitude ability to work under guidance committed to the company and team player.
  • Basic computer knowledge and good social communication skills.
