Configuration Management Specialist

Job Summary:
KBR is seeking a highly skilled Data and Configuration Manager to support the EWIS – Joint and Air sustainment programs. The successful candidate will provide configuration knowledge to support technical and engineering activities, ensuring quality and compliance with relevant legislative, policy, and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Sustainment management unit (SMU)
- Demonstrate understanding of engineering systems and processes
- Undertake configuration activities in accordance with SAE 649C configuration principles
- Provide subject matter expert advice on Configuration Management and Data Management (CM/DM) to SMU members
- Ensure compliance to policies and procedures and resolve or escalate any compliance issues
- Facilitate CM and DM audits
- Mentor the organization on CM/DM services, concepts, policies, and procedures
- Assist with the configuration control board (CCB) and enact changes as directed
- Demonstrate an understanding of Data Management principles
- Ensure Objective access and data storage are compliant with CASG QMSE
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant industry experience
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in a Defence or related technical industry
