Ambulance Transport Attendant

The Royal Flying Doctor Service, Victoria, is seeking a skilled Ambulance Transport Attendant to join our team in Horsham. As a key member of our Mobile Patient Care (MPC) team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and transportation services to patients in need.
As an Ambulance Transport Attendant, you will work closely with our team to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of patients to and from medical facilities. You will be required to perform patient assessments, provide medical care, and maintain accurate records of patient interactions.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments and provide medical care during on-road transport
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients and stakeholders
- Assess the effectiveness of interventions in accordance with RFDS MPC guidelines and NEPT regulations
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless patient care
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Diploma of Paramedical Science (Ambulance) or equivalent qualification
- Experience working in the Non-Emergency Patient Transport sector (desirable but not essential)
- A FULL Victorian Drivers licence and ability to drive in city and country traffic conditions
- Availability to work across a 7-day roster (no night shifts)
