About the Role:

Key responsibilities include sales and inventory management for products like agricultural merchandise, fertiliser, and ag chem.

A successful candidate will collaborate with store managers, agronomists, and sales teams to provide support through stock takes, retail operations improvement initiatives, on-farm meetings, technical information, and mentoring to enhance performance.

The role involves contributing to business strategies, managing profit & loss statements, negotiating with suppliers, developing pricing strategies, overseeing stock levels, and implementing marketing initiatives to maintain competitiveness.

To achieve success in this position, one must be able to analyse market trends, climatic, and seasonal factors to ensure our organisation remains the preferred choice for rural customers in the region.

About You:
  • Strong technical background with experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Prior experience in pricing, margin management, and achieving sales targets through effective category development is necessary.
  • Ability to network and identify opportunities for business growth is crucial.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required to build long-term relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are mandatory.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning systems and strong MS Excel skills for reporting are desirable.
  • A valid Driver's Licence is required.
  • Forklift and heavy rigid licence are desirable but not mandatory.
