Job Description

As a dedicated caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of residents by providing personalized support and care. This opportunity is situated at a welcoming aged care home, offering 24-hour care and support to its residents.

About The Role

The home caters to individuals who require additional support with daily tasks, while maintaining some independence. As a caregiver, you will work closely with residents to provide personal and daily care, upholding their dignity and respecting their routines, under the guidance of your team.

Duties May Include
  • Providing person-centered care in accordance with individualized care plans
  • Assisting with medication administration and simple wound dressing
  • Supervising activities as needed
  • Collaborating with residents to continue engaging in activities they enjoy
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
  • Ability to perform duties with physical efficiency and safety
  • Exceptional listening skills, driven by genuine curiosity and interest in understanding people's needs
  • Compassion-driven care skills, accompanied by a positive attitude that inspires others
  • Effective teamwork and collaboration, even in challenging situations, to problem-solve, connect, and overcome
