Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Policy Officer. This position will play a key part in implementing legislative reforms related to the Electoral (Miscellaneous) Amendment Act.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the implementation of legislative reform projects, including developing regulations and business processes.
- Prepare project plans, briefs, and closure reports.
- Identify and manage project risks according to established frameworks.
- Provide analysis and advice on legislative reforms.
- Ensure timely provision of information for internal and external requests.
- Offer expert advice and interpretation on complex policy issues.
Key Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Able to build and maintain effective working relationships and influence others in a diplomatic manner.
- Professional communication skills.
Additional Information:
- This is a temporary term basis position.
- Candidates must undergo a satisfactory background check.
- Some out-of-normal-working-hours duty may be required.
- Interstate and intrastate travel may be necessary.
About the Role:
The Senior Policy Officer will work closely with the team to implement legislative reforms. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
