The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a workshop-based High Voltage Electrician in our Perth branch, with strong growth in our Service Department.

In this role, you will focus on performing upgrades to Australian standards, maintenance, and fit-out of local options to our Electric Drive Dump Trucks, as well as assisting with electrical service, maintenance, and fit-outs on our other Hitachi product lines.

This permanent role is based in Forrestdale and offers access to OEM training, allowing you to build a long-term career in a global company.

Requirements
  • Ensure the HCA Safety Culture is embraced, displayed, and driven from within - safety takes priority over everything else.
  • Hold relevant Australian (or Australian recognised) Electrical trade qualifications with a High Voltage Switching Ticket.
  • Have experience with Mining, Earthmoving, and/or Construction equipment electrical fault finding & diagnosis.
  • Have the ability to recognise basic product quality deviations/faults.
  • Hold good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
  • Having experienced in a production line style workshop would be advantageous.
