Paediatric Endocrinologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Endocrinologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Western Health. As a Paediatric Endocrinologist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to children with diabetes and other endocrine disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical expertise in paediatric endocrinology, including diabetes care and management
  • Work collaboratively with General Paediatricians, Neonatologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care for patients
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based clinical guidelines and protocols
  • Participate in teaching and supervision of junior medical staff, general paediatricians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Engage in quality improvement and service evaluation activities to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Recognised qualifications as a Paediatric Endocrinologist (FRACP) and membership of the Australasian Paediatric Endocrinology Group (APEG)
  • Recent experience in paediatric diabetes care and management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and research
