BESIX Watpac is a leading principal contractor with a strong portfolio of diverse projects. As a Design Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering project excellence in design leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing consultants to deliver high-quality design documentation on time, on budget, and in compliance with the Project Brief.
  • Reviewing project design for regulatory and building compliance.
  • Collaborating with the construction team and trade subcontractors to drive efficiencies during delivery.
  • Actively participating in methodology development for the delivery of the project.
  • Maintaining design quality control management.

The successful candidate will require:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering.
  • Prior experience working with a principal contractor delivering large-scale D&C building projects from commencement to completion.
  • Ability to collaborate with external consultants to obtain best outcomes for the project.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
