Rehabilitation Consultant Role Overview

This role involves working as a rehabilitation consultant to assist individuals in their recovery and return to work or life following injury or illness.

Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, case management services, and providing counseling support to clients. You will also interact with various stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for your clients.

As a rehabilitation consultant, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of customers, including insurance companies, employers, and health professionals. Your clinical skills and knowledge will enable you to support clients in recovering and returning to their pre-injury or new employment.

The ideal candidate will be an occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or exercise physiologist with relevant membership. You will need current police clearance and working with children check. Occupational rehabilitation experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, along with time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. A genuine commitment to continuous improvement is also essential.

About You
  • Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist (with relevant membership)
  • Current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
  • Occupational Rehabilitation Experience is highly desirable but not essential
