About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Food Services Assistant to join our Food Services Team at one of our modern facilities. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a great team of dedicated people and make a real difference in the lives of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food to residents in a timely and efficient manner
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
- Restock supplies and receive goods as required
- Record temperatures and complete checklists as necessary
- Work as a member of the Food Services team to achieve our goals and objectives
About You
- You have a passion for food, nutrition, and general well-being, and are interested in working in a kitchen environment
- You are a team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- You take pride in your work and are committed to delivering high-quality results
- You have a Food Safety or Food Handling Certificate (desirable)
- You have a valid work permit and a current police check
- You are up-to-date with your Influenza and COVID-19 vaccination, including booster
