Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to lead advanced clinical care services within the primary healthcare clinic.
This newly created role reports to the Senior Medical Officer and delivers culturally safe and responsive primary health care aligned with the BRAMS Model of Care.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality patient assessments, diagnoses, and clinical decision-making
- Conducting independent prescribing and ordering diagnostic investigations
- Managing patient recalls, reminders, and follow-up care processes
- Collaborating across departments and multidisciplinary teams
- Leading quality improvement activities and clinical audits
- Participating in clinical governance and safeguarding practices for children and young people
To be considered, you must hold current AHPRA registration with endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner.
Demonstrated experience in a primary healthcare setting and working in Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services is highly regarded.
