**Job Title:** Lead Software Quality Assurance Specialist
**About the Role:** Credit Union Australia is seeking a skilled and experienced Test Lead to join our team on a 12-month max-term contract. As the Lead Software Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in implementing and executing our Test Strategy in the delivery of your assigned Initiatives.
**Responsibilities:
- Define, implement, and execute a comprehensive Test Strategy for Credit Union Australia's strategic programs of work.
- Develop and refine test strategies and test plans for Credit Union Australia with supporting processes, methods, and measures across functional and non-functional test phases.
- Coordinate stakeholder management, strategy, resource planning, implementation, execution, analysis, and reporting for all testing engagements.
- Manage, develop, and mentor a high-performing Test Team, ensuring consistency and quality of delivery across System, Functional, Regression, and Business Acceptance test phases.
- Evaluate partners and third-party vendors' quality requirements, ensuring seamless integration of testing processes with Credit Union Australia's existing processes.
- Oversee the defect management process and tools, guaranteeing the quality of items raised and adherence to the defined defect lifecycle, as well as ownership of defect triage.
- Provide project stakeholders with high-quality, data-driven test reporting metrics based on relevant test development progress, execution, and defect.
- Manage test execution across project streams for multiple test cycles and phases.
**Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a Test Manager/Lead involving complex integration projects preferably within the financial sector.
- 5+ years' experience of Testing within software development projects at Test Analyst and Senior Test Analyst level.
- Proven track record of directly managing Test Teams with diverse resources from various test disciplines via both onshore and offshore models.
- Excellent leadership skills and communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality written documentation.
- Extensive experience in developing Test Strategies, Test Plans, and other related test documentation.
- Experience across multiple software development methodologies and the SDLC.
- Proven ability to manage Vendors and drive accountability for quality.
- Experience planning, managing, and coordinating business UAT.
- Self-motivated and proactive, able to work to clearly defined and structured plans or plan and organize own workload to achieve tight deadlines.
**Salary:** The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
