Job Title: Labor Delivery Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team in the Labor and Delivery unit.


Job Description:

As an LPN in this role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality patient care to expectant mothers. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where every day is different.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with clinical planning and care of patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of services.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to facilitate efficient care delivery and ensure excellent patient outcomes.
  • Manage resources and prioritize tasks to optimize care delivery and minimize wait times.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program.
  • At least one year of recent experience in Labor and Delivery or a related field.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification.

Working Conditions:
  • Requires standing and walking for extended periods, with occasional lifting and moving of patients.
  • Exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, and other potentially hazardous conditions common to a clinical environment.
